LOL I took my youngest to Kindergarten this morning and what a wonderful feeling it was. I am happy to have her in school, she's been anxious to start. She's not shy in the least and when it came time to say goodbye, I asked her if I could go now... she thought about it for a minute and then said "Yep, bye mom." LOL that's my girl! here's a few photos... my 4th grader and K-grader walking together. (we live a block from the school) And one of my Ker at her new desk. Does she look excited or what? :)

a great weekend!
I don't know about everyone but we had a great 4 day weekend. We went and saw Pirates of the Caribbean 3 and loved it. We had ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery - YUM! I spent a day shopping at the outlet malls with my girlfriends and had a huge slice of chocolate dipped cheesecake from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory! o-m-g that was the richest, sweetest, most decadent thing evah! I could barely finish it which is hardly the case when it comes to me and cheesecake!! haha
My little girl turned 5 and had her party at the beach. It was a beautiful day and lots of fun. here's a few photos of the birthday girl!

DIAD? not quite
I've just been busy busy busy up the yinyang. I still cannot believe we're 5 months into the year already ....'07 is just about half over! May is a great month because stuff really starts to pick up. Is it Spring Fever? The warmer climate? The yearning for cool, creamy coffee concoctions? hmm, maybe all the above for me. I spent some time in the dirt and potted some flowers.... now to watch them slowly wither due to the fact that I've got more of a purple thumb than a green one. LOL I turned 28 and ate cheesecake. Does it get any better?! I bought a new printer. I'm a devoted HPer so I picked up one of those Photosmarts with the 7 different ink cartridges. Now if only I would get my rear in gear and scrap something, I'd have a purpose to print. I think every friend I know had a child in a spring month, I've attended so many parties the last two months. My own baby turns 5 TOMORROW. aaah soon she'll be in school and I'll be F R E E, muahahahaha. We're gonna be at the beach for her party this weekend and I'm just sayin' the weather better be nice! {ya hear that Mr. Weatherman?!} I'm happy with life right now. It's treating me good so I can't complain. There's a lot going on, a lot to keep track of but I'm so in my element. I mean, I'm just not happy if I'm not stressed out even a lil' bit right? LOL So on with life I say. My mom is gonna be visiting here in a few weeks and then our favoritest Grandma & Auntie a few weeks after that. I tell ya, it's spring fever. ;)
So I feel the need to post something scrappy... only I haven't done anyhting with 'em yet. Maybe saying it out loud will make it happen? eh, we'll see. So anyway, I have a few things I've picked up on various shopping trips. I love this little clock and know exactly what papers to decorate it with! I also have a wooden word 'HOME' and a little wooden purse... no clue what it's purpose will be other than to look stinkin' cute on my already too-full-of-altered-goodies shelf!

post-holiday blues
Yup, I've decided that's what ails me at the moment. I just can't seem to catch a creative break lately. I WANT to scrap but I keep procrastinating. Hmmmm... maybe if I wasn't planting my bum here in front of the pc I would be more productive! LMAO
So the family had a nice holiday, the hubby took a week off and we lounged around the. Dd is still on winter break and I am counting the minutes until school starts again! I need my freedom back and then maybe I'll get my groove back too. ;)
